The Run For A Million 2024 Quarter Horse News Guide

One of the most highly-paid events for performance horses begins August 12 at the South Point Arena and Equestrian Center in Las Vegas, NV. There are two huge changes to The Run For A Million 2024: Bullfighters Only will be replaced with a two-round Invitational Bareback Buck-out and The Jump For A Million (a competition for North American diving dogs) will be added. Tickets for this year's event sold out in less than ten minutes.

Although scammers are relentless on social media, the real livestream details can be found here. Livestream access can be purchased at a cost of $75 for full access. Full access includes the $200,000 Cutting Challenge, $200,000 Cow Horse Challenge, Bareback Buck Out, and the $1 million The Run for A Million contest. Access to individual events can also be purchased.

The invigorating event has already generated some excitement in 2024 with the announcement of the first European qualifier and the subsequent change of that rider. Cow horse riders qualified last fall at the National Stock Horse Association's World's Richest Stock Horse competition and the National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) Western Derby. Five more riders will qualify at the NRCHA Hackamore Classic on July 26.
