By Ray Hickson

It was not that long ago that coach Peter Snowden questioned Fire Star's courage, but the only question that was answered at Canterbury on Monday is whether he can pick up where his winning streak stopped.

Fire Star teamed up in the end between October and early December, and Snowden saw nothing that indicates that he cannot extend his run in the Precise Air Handicap (1100 m).

Before his Warwick Farm win on October 7, the gelding had a win of 10 starts and Snowden said: “It is now up to him” to continue.

“Two of them were strenuous victories where he looked like he had been beaten and came back,” he said.

“He had a really good preparation, but it was his fifth run (preparation) before putting together these victories.

“It was really uncomplicated to see and he came back in a really good order.

“He now starts in a benchmark 94 compared to 72 last time, so you have to keep it on board.

“He looks great physically, his work was pointed and everything about him seems to be the same when he went out.”

Fire Star, 5.50 US dollars with Tab on Sunday, has an unpleasant alley with which Snowden recognizes Andrew Adkins as a challenge for jockey.

In Hawkesbury, Scone and Brisbane there is for the four -year race in Hawkesbury, Scone and Brisbane if he can pass the test.

“I am interested to see how it works,” he said.

“He has drawn a bit usually, it is a bit of speed in the race and it is fresh, so I hope that it is not too early.

“If he relaxes and a little luck while running, he is going very well.”

After two wins from three runs in this campaign, the written scandal continues to rise in the exceeding of Vinery Stud Handicap (1100 m).

The stut foal increases weight at its last start in Gosford 4 kg and even allows Braith Nocks 2 -kg allegation, but Snowden said it was not the disadvantage that it looks with at least 57 kg.

“It's a good race for her, it has a good goal and a few kilos helps in a highly weighted race,” he said.

“She will give herself every chance of this good goal.”

It could be worth keeping an eye on Cassiel, this preparation, since Snowden is certain that the four -year -old can improve his victory from seven starts.

He will be resumed in the Ranvet Handicap (1100 m) after taking a low second place in the middle of the middle of the second place in his trial on Saturday.

“It will be as well as a little luck and fire star,” said Snowden.

“He will present one day and if he does it, he will think about Bang-Bang.”

Peter Snowden on girls from Moolah (Race 2): “It is an improved stuff foal that came from her first run to nice and has a good goal to get a good run again.”
