The six-time winner of group 1 Auguste Rodin will be brought to the Windsor Park Stud in Cambridge this spring for the Modern Zealand breeding industry.
Auguste Rodin, one of the best racing horses in the world, achieved success at the elite level with two, three and four years.
Auguste Rodin, a flawless son of deep impact from Galileo's triple daughter of Group 1, Rhododendron, has one of the most sought -after family trees in the world.
Auguste Rodin was trained by Aidan O'Brien and had an immediate influence on the route and showed an extraordinary turn and versatility over several distances.
As a two-year-old, his ability was immediately obvious and received the status of a TDN Rising Star when he won his virgin in Naas over 1400 m before taking the Gr.2 Champions Juvenile (1600 m) in Leopardstown and the prestigious GR.1-fund trophy (1600 m) in Doncaster.
His three -year campaign confirmed his status as a real champion. Auguste Rodin won a breathtaking victory in the Gr 1 Epsom Derby (2400 m), followed by a emphatic victory in the GR.1 Irish Derby (2400 m). His dominance was continued with the victories in the GR.1 Irish Champion Stakes (2000 m) before crossing the pond for an unforgettable triumph in the size of Breeder 'Cup Turf (2400 m) in Santa Anita.

Auguste Rodin returned as a four -year -old and added another jewel to his crown and won the GR.1 Prince of Wales' Stakes (2000 m) in Royal Ascot.
Auguste Rodin retired as the winner of eight races with Prizemoney revenue of more than 11 million NZ $ over extensions from 1400 m to 2400 m and defeated 21 winners of Group 1 one and 45 profits of Group 1.
“We have the privilege of greeting a race horse by Auguste Rodin's caliber in our stallion,” said Rodney Schick, director of Windsor Park.
“His racing performance has a remarkable resemblance to that of High Chaparral, which we stood here in Windsor Park and who, through his own success, enjoyed global success and international awareness and that of his sons, grandchildren and daughters at stud.
“We thank Coolmore for their ongoing robust confirmation and support for both Windsor Park and for Modern Zealand breeding industry, just like last season here the paddington.
“Like High Chaparral, Auguste Rodin has a lot of quality and we are very ecstatic to be able to offer breeders.”
Auguste Rodin's career reflects the High Chaparral. Both horses have victories in the Futurity Trophy at Two, the English and Irish derbies, the Irish Champion Stakes and the Breeder's 'Cup Turf, with the most critical difference between Auguste Rodin's success at Royal Ascot in the Prince of Wales' Stakes at the age of four.
“Auguste Rodin is an extraordinary view of race horse and stallion with the mixture of class, speed and family tree that only has the best,” said Coolmore MV Magnier.
“He is a very special horse for us at Coolmore and I really believe that he picks up up there with the best racing horses and ranks that we stood here in front of him.
“We are pleased that he will become Windsor Park Shuttle to improve his future heritage in the southern hemisphere.”
Auguste Rodin comes from the last harvest of the Japanese triple crown winner and the eleven-time Sire Deep Impact, a son of the legendary racehorse and father-Sunday silence, which Auguste Rodin bears a striking physical similarity.
In his first three generations, Auguste Rodin has six multiple champion sires, who directly ride down the actor of group 1 with a mile or less from three outstanding racing mares.
He is the first foal of the Triple Group 1 winner Rhododendron, one of the leading daughters of the Immortal Sire and the Broodmare Sire Galileo and a sister of the seven-time winner Magical 1.
Both sisters of the champion are from Pivotal's triple Group One and 1,000 Guineas winners halfway to the sky, while his brilliantly faster Damm Cassandra Go won the antique 1 king's stakes (1000m) in Royal Ascot.
The mixture of deep influences with Galileo Blood has led to an eyewatering 17% group winner for runners.
Coach Aidan O'Brien described Auguste Rodin as a uncommon talent.
“He was always rated very high when he was a foal at Coolmore, and when Ryan (Moore) drove him for the first time when he was two years antique, he said he was a very special horse.
“It connects two of the most powerful breeding lines in the world and was a pleasure to train.
“Physically, he fills the eye as well as this additional quality and movement. It is very well balanced and very well proportioned and blessed with a massive step, which is usually the sign of a very good horse.”
Auguste Rodin takes his place on the 2025 stallion from Windsor Park with Coolmore Sires Paddington and Circus Maximus and next to the resident, leading stallion Shaxpress, the father of the highest rated sprinter in the world, Ka Ying Rising.
Auguste Rodin will be an introductory fee of USD+GST in 2025.
