The winner of the GII Wood Memorial Stakes and Bob Baffert Traineee Rodriguez (Legitimate), according to Tom Ryan by SF Racing, was scratched with a sensitive foot blue spots from the Gi Kentucky Derby on Saturday.
“From great caution, we made a very complex decision to scratch our derby horse Rodriguez,” said Ryan's post. “He has a tiny, but slightly sensitive footplowing, which takes a few more days. That is why we reset our plans and will address it for the prevention.”
The “TDN Rising Star” Is now being replaced by Baeza (McKinzie), which was waiting for coach John Shirffs in the wings and is driven 12: 1 on the morning line of Flavien Prat. Per DrfJockey Luis Saez will drive now NeoEquos (Neolithic).
