NeoEquos took third place in Florida Derby | Ryan Thompson
Gi Curlin Florida Derby and Gii Coolmore Fountain of Youth Stakes third NeoEquos (Neolithic) on Thursday morning brought half a mile in the Gulfstream Park and got the distance in a ball: 48.43. “It went well,” said Joseph. “He worked in society. He was in his work colleague. It was his last breeze and we were only looking for maintenance. It went well. He is in good shape.”
NeoEquos Racing for C2 Racing Stable LLC, Ian Parsard, Shining Stables LLC and Stefania Farms LLC is currently the 21st place in the Kentucky Derby ranking on points and requires a breakout to get into the field. Horses must be on the Churchill Downs site on Saturday, April 26th, on the same day when the classic field of class I is drawn.

Flavien Prat will drive NeoEquos in the derby when he makes the field. However, Prat takes the mountain with Baeza (McKinzie), even if he also moves into the derby. Baeza is currently 23 in the score.
