Many of the best jockeys and overseas drivers of Australia will come together on Saturday, April 5th and Saturday, April 12th, on Royal Randwick to fight for the prestigious Nathan Berry Medal on day 1 and day 2 of the Star Championships 2025.
The medal is in honor of the former top jockey, which died in April 2014 and is awarded the most successful jockey over the 12 races of the championships.

The Nathan Berry Medal Point point number is determined in the 10 group races together with the finale of the country and the provincial midway championship 3-2. The winner announced on Saturday, April 12th, on Saturday, April 12th, at the end of the last championship race and Queen of Turf Stakes.
*In the event of a tie, the winner is he/she who drove most of the winners. If a similar number is declared the medal as a draw.
Nathan Berry was 23 -year -old and drove 351 winners during his career with his greatest victory on board the Magic Millions in January 2014.
Nathan also won the three group's races three on Malavio (Tramway Stakes), VA Pensiero (Run to the Rose) and not burdened (Mclachlan Stakes).
The Nathan Berry Medal is unique because it has its initials 'NJB' on the medal in the same font on his racing yodh traces and is decorated by a gloomy and featherlight blue band -the colors he had unloaded.
Fittingly, Nathan's twin brother Tommy hit first place in the first Nathan -Berry medal 2014 with James McDonald.
Champion Jockey James McDonald missed Day 1, was able to revise the guide on day 2 to land 11 points and win the medal for the fifth time.
