Large al, who bears the hopes of the Stewart team

Steve Clarke and Hayley Stewart, the racing separator of the father-daughter belt house, will look for a partnership on the Addington Raceway today on the Addington Raceway.

It is her fifth season of the partnership of her Norwood base outside of Christchurch and have had five placements so far have come with Maiden Trotter Large Al ($ 3.70ff) this season, which will now appear in Rennen 2, the mid-winter Christmas festival, now over 2600 m (5:04 p.m.).

Large Al, who is driven by Steve Clarke, is just simple after a solid third in Rangiora after a solid third on Sunday. Clarke is no stranger to the winner after he has trained eleven winners before working with his daughter Hayley Stewart, who is looking for her first training success.

“It's a family matter. Mom comes out and drove her. My husband Joe comes out and drives him every morning. Large al was a bit of a project for him.” said Stewart.

“He went well after Sunday. He just had a few peaceful days.”

Large Al has secured well in the past when he drove the West Coast March on both days.

“He seems to thrive off the race, so I don't think the little gap between racing will worry him.”

Stewart is confident that the type of meetings will work in their favor a week.

“He is a really good beginner, so it really works in his favor.

“It is a diminutive uniform field, so they are all an chance of such meetings.”

Further chances at the event are the current racing favorite for Brightman (3.40ff) for coaches/driver Kyle Cameron, Ma Belle Amie ($ 6.00) for coach/driver John Versteeg and Star Invasion (3.90ff) for Amber Lethaby, whereby Sheree Tomlinson can drive.

Clarke and Stewart also lead the city of Airy in Race 4, the McMillan Equine, over 2000 m (6:08 p.m.) to drive with Clarke at optics with Withds (101 ff).

“He is still very green. It's a bit of a setback from his race on Sunday,” says Stewart.

“We think a bit of him. It only takes a while to learn the entire racing game.

“He could take a little break today.”

Swift Guy ($ 3.20ff) for coaches/driver Leo O'Reilly and Rockin Roman ($ 3.80ff) for coach Cheree Wigg and driver Jonny Cox are somewhat loose in an even field.

Clarke and Stewart are just working on the two racing horses after they have just published three more for the winter.

“We usually don't work too many in winter because dad and I both work full -time – it makes it tough to edit them in the morning before we have to go.”

The race starts today from 4:24 p.m. this afternoon.
