A productive shopping week at Karaka has contributed to building Nick Kneebone on the way to an emerging rider on the way to an emerging rider.
Kneebone wore eight purchases as part of Patella Bloodstock's banners during the national annual sale of Fresh Zealand Bloodstock.
He secured five annuals from Book 1, including a capitalist colt for $ 460,000, a Satono Aladdin Colt for 400,000 US dollars and a St. Mark -Basilica Colt for $ 360,000. He followed this with another three years in Buch 2 and reported to Shamexpress with a 125,000 dollar in the overdue Thursday afternoon.
Patella Bloodstock's total editions in the five days of sales were USD 1,680,000.
“It was really good,” said Kneebone. “We managed to secure eight horses, seven colts and a foal, and we are really satisfied with what we came along.
“The plan is now to bring them to Cambridge and to finish it, either go to overseas or go to training here.”

This is part of the thoroughbred world in which Knebone wants to be immersed. The 27-year-old is a son of the long-time auctioneer and NZB director for business development Mike Kneebone, but he also has valuable experience in stables through the Tasman.
“I spent seven years at Randwick with John Sargent and then brought in with Jim and Greg Lee.
“I am glad to come here now and to do it at a time when it looks like Fresh Zealand's races are up to date. The price increases in the price-money have recently been a great news for the industry here and I am very interested in being part of it. “
The original goal of Kneebone is to prepare some horses for the Ferce to Run Sale in Karaka in November.
“To start things, I think it's a good idea to swap a few horses,” he said. “I will prepare you for the sale, see how it works, and then take it from there.
“I hope that a property in Cambridge will soon be included, ideally at the end of March when the horses have broken in and we try to put them in operation.” – NZ racing desk
