You may already have your favorite derby horse in Kentucky or, like many of us, continue to see the lead-up races (I do not call you “preparations” because it is prosperous stakes races).
Hold your remote control, because on March 1st there will be a trio of such races on the main circles with the Youth fountain (G2)Race 13 in Gulfstream at 5:44 p.m. as the most remarkable. On the west coast in Santa Anita, the Grade 2 San Felipe Has six participants, three trained by Bob Baffert, and in Modern York the one-mile gotham stakes in Modern York is a springboard for the more prominent Wood memorial (G2).
Youth fountain – 1 1/16 miles
The 415,000 dollar race leads to the Florida Derby (G1), which in nine Furlongs represents a better measure of the selection of a potential gain from Kentucky Derby.
But Burnham Square Is currently the toast of Floridas with two wins in a row, including a convincing run in the Holy Bull Stakes (G3) on February 1st. In this 1 1/16 miles, Burnham Square, a son of Liams Map, gathered from the pace of beating up the emerging tappenstrasse. There were more than nine lengths back to third place.

While Burnham Square looks very powerful, there are some engaging competitors who could be candidates. The Modern York breed was trained by Todd Plletcher and John Velazquez Rides.
SOVEREIGNTY The Street Sense Stakes in Churchill Downs won in October and celebrates its three -year debut for Godolphin and coach Bill Mott. This son of Into Into Insiler won the road loss with five lengths and had the highly respected sandman behind.
San Felipe – 1 1/16 miles
With three of the six starters in Santa Anitas San Felipe from Baffert, it is likely that the winner would come from this barn. It will be Barnes? Into Mishief's unbeaten son won the San Vicente (G2) in his second career race and created a 93 Beyer for his 7 Furlongs in 1:22. This is his first two-gymnastics test.
His stable Rodgriguez Looks like a nice, since this son of True was second in Robert B Lewis Stakes (G3). Third in the last races was the Madaket Road, which was a good second in the Rebel Stakes (G2) last weekend.
Gotham – 1 mile
It is unlikely Sencing Makes its first start on the dirt on the field. The son of Mo Town is trained by the experienced Woodbine Conditioner John Charalambous.
The Gotham distinguishes the top Five finisher 50-25-15-10-5 qualifying points for the derby on May 3.
The horse that is to be beaten in the Gotham would be sacrosized and trained by the dual Eclipse winner Brad Cox. The sincere Mischfief Bay won its three missions around a curve here, including the ultimate Nyss Great White Way, which is on December 14th on December 14 compared to state breeding at Bertram F. Bongard and Sleepy Hollow.
