Greg Sugars, who should be honored at the Melton meeting

The wife of Sugars, Jess Tubbs, trains three of the nine cable harvest in the Vale Greg Sugars Free-All (Running 5).

The leading driver of Australia, James Herbertson, has withdrawn from a work vacation in the USA and will drive the favorite rock nroll hammer in the race.

The usual female Kerrny Manning will drive the veteran of the former Kiwi Pacer Triple for Tubbs, while Craig Demmler will be Better Eclipse on board the former Auckland Cup winner.

The drivers will compete in the meeting in black armbands.

There is a tribuser semony between Four and Five in Melton.

There will also be a break in the Menangle meeting in Sydney so that the ceremony can be on the vast screen of this track.

In the ceremony, Greg's colors and other critical objects are laid on a shrine on the winning position. All participating drivers will form an honorary guard.

The 40 -year -old sugar died in Sydney last Sunday when he camped horses.

The belt is shaken and mourned since then.

Tributes have been received from all over the world, including Sweden, where the sugar ran, only believe until 2023 and the USA.

He was almost as loved and admired in Up-to-date Zealand as in Australia, in view of his many friends and great success.

Herbertson said he was “not in the right head space” to stay in the USA.

“I had to return home and support Jess (Tubbs),” he said. “I'm not sure how long I am back, I'll play it after hearing.”

Like so many others, Herbertson is waiting for details of Sugars's funeral and memorial service, which take place in Melton on a non-raceay.

Tubbs said a date must still be completed for the funeral.

Sugar had a Hall of Fame record with over 4000 wins, including 71 on group 1.
