Gerry Dilger Equine Scholarship Foundation Award Trio

On November 20, the Gerry Dilger Equine Scholarship Foundation announced the recipients of the Kentucky Experience Scholarship, which candidates have now selected for one year in January for Kentucky Farms.

The charity organization has been set up in memory of Gerry Dilger, who over the years supervised so many newborn people on his Dromoland Farm in Lexington.

The scholarship package includes visa, flights, hourly wages and accommodation at the Springhouse Farm in Lexington and the Hunter Valley Farm in Versailles, Ky. Applications were invited to the charity organization by the recent graduates of Equine programs at the University of Limerick, the University College Dublin, the Irish national stud, the Cafre Enniskillen, and the Kildton College to the charity organization.

Sean Berns completed the prestigious Irish National Stud, just like Gerry Dilger, and is placed on the Springhouse Farm. Berns is not originally out of a horse background, but he has followed a far -reaching path in the Bloodstock world, including the study by Equine Business am Maynooth College and work on the Derrinstown Stud and the Coolmore Stud in Ireland and Newgate in Australia. One day he hopes to own a farm and comply with the Pinhook and breeding.

Sarah Pepper is also for the Springhouse Farm, who recently completed the University College Dublin. Pepper has a wide range of horses to the riding schools and the pony camp to work at the Gerrardstown House Stud in County Meath and has a particular interest in nutrition and well -being of horses.

The third scholarship recipient is Larry Mulvany, a graduate at the University College Dublin who is joined by Hunter Valley Farm for the year. Mulvany was expelled by the son of the coach Michael Mulvany in the Meath County. He also worked with the leading European provider, the Castlebridge show, and had an earlier low placement at the Hunter Valley Farm. One day he would like to train a day's day in Ireland in Ireland, but in the meantime it is very interested in gaining as much international experience as possible.
