Friday focus – a snapshot of the Saturday race

Royal Randwick – Best bet: race 10 # 5 – TAVI time

Trainer Kris Lees (picture: Steve Hart)

Super consistent galoper from the stable of Kris Lees, which, although he is a beaten favorite in the Substantial Dance, contains a successful spring and summer campaign that ended with a summer cup win of the group 3. Fitter for two tests and the 1400 m freshness is ideal for him. The last time he was beaten at 1400 m, but it was in Rosehill and he pulled back and went back and just made the floor without threat. Then he won second with James McDonald on board. This will be a different scenario than much softer. I can't see how he drives a bad race and it is tough to beat.

Royal Randwick – Next Best: Running 4 # 2 – newspaper

There are probably only a few runners in this race, which have been specially set for this, but the more they look at this Godolphin stall foal. She went to PJ Bell a month two weeks ago between the runs and was not very lucky when she ran to a tight fifth place from behind. It turned out that she is now ready for the 1400 m, and it is a trip that she proved very effective last spring to gain the trip in Flemington in vanity. This race is not a harder quality than last time and if it reaches its peak in this race, it will keep a lot.

Royal Randwick – Section Star: Racing 9 # 9 – General Salute

Produced immense surfaces to win both runs in this preparation, and he had to pick them up in the Group 3 star kingdom last time in Rosehill. In this race, Punter's intelligence showed that he ran the fastest 600 m of 34.05 and the last 200 m of 11.31 when he walked the middle of the third load in the round. The start of Randwick 1200 m is much friendlier than Rosehill, so it is not a large deal to draw it, and he would probably prefer it so that he can equalize and meet the line. The 5 kg climb will test it, but he should get every opportunity to breathe his neck again.

Kembla Grange – selection of provincial selection: Running 8 # 2 – Last command

After a first victory in the last preparation, the S Stakes Company took over in two starts, but the bar is lower for its second return this time. It had to like how he was recorded in Hawkesbury in Hawkesbury two weeks ago when he increased to third place. It increased a little to land when he was pulled outwards, but he made far too behind schedule in quick time. This says that the ascent is in its favor at 1500 m and that with 1 kg less arrives with the apply of a 3kg applicant. Pull the middle and Kembla should adapt so that he has the right to be right at the finish line.
