Cantab Hall gelding scores in 25,000 USD trot

East Rutherford, NJ – outside the fire (Cantab Hall) worked on the way, Lexus Kody in the Friday evening imperial race in Meadowlands, a $ 25,000 high-end red, a perfect pocket trip on the way.

The race was a great matchup between the two talented troters. Outside of the fire, one winner of two of his last four for Jeff Cullipher Barn, who was sent to the goal as a 3-5 favorite and took Lexus Kody 2-1, the ultra-talented speedball by Ron Burke, which in half of six parts, which result in the last three tries, in the last six parts, which are terribly good with half of the load lane.

The race was predictable because the position of Post Five left in the seven-horse field outside the fire. He actually had the top in the quarter in: 27.4 ahead of Lexus Kody, driven by 25-year-old Aussie James Herbertson, who will be at Gigantic M for the next five weeks to get a foretaste of American races, the field took over in half in: 57.2 and three quarters in 1: 26.4. The success balance holder for an older gelding due to a Hambletonian day of 1: 49.4 on the last Hamblonian day would be complex to exceed in: 59 after a medium half.

But outside the fire, the challenge was up to the challenge, because for Lexus Kody it wasn't his breaking problem that cost him the victory, but it was a horse that was just better.

“He was in a razor -sharp form,” said the victorious driver Johnathan Ahale. “So, I just thought, let's see where we land and come when we have to.”

When we approached three quarters, when Ahale drove outside the fire for the first time, it cleared the bag to track the leader.

“I wouldn't say I was nervous,” said Ahl. “But I didn't like the snail-paced half at all.”

Outside the fire brigade repetition

Outside the fire, Lexus Kody brightened with about a sixteenth in front of the fire and won 1: 53.1 in 1: 53.1. The third was on higher soil.

“The way mine felt in the last round,” said Ahl. “He felt loaded with a trot and I was confident.”

A 6-year-old, Schumal son of Cantab Hall-Featherlight The Flame, outside the fire, increased his lifelong statistics to 25 wins of 84 starts, well for the income of $ 374,068 for owners Pollack Racing LLC. He paid $ 3.40 to win.

A little more: A transfer of $ 5,569 led to a total bath of just more than $ 22,000 in the 20-cent election and after a sequence in which the chances of 9: 5, 2: 2, 7: 2, 4: 5, 5: 1 and 3: 1 were replaced for $ 2,181.64. … The experienced amateur driver David Glasser recorded his first career victory against non-amateur pilots when he led the urban renewal ($ 12.20) to the circle of the winner in the second race. … All-source handle was $ 2.272.242 on the 14-race card. … racing will continue on Saturday at 6:20 p.m.
