Campbell, Collings Triple in Charlottetown closer

Charlottetown, PE – For driver Marc Campbell and coach Tammy Collings, it was a triple triple when the winter meeting of the cable harness came to an end on Saturday afternoon in Red Shores Racetrack and Casino in the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Collings started her day, Race 5 in a romp in 1:57 in the open length of Silver Spirit in line to the O'Brien Award Future Star Finalist Brady Sweet as a 2-5 favorite. Sweet has on Saturday, February 8th in Mississauga, ont, against Todd Ratchford for the O'Brien Award at the National Gala.

The Ideal Jet received the services of Marc Campbell 3-1 at Race 7 for coaches, and then the duo in race 9 with brokeandout gas clicked again in 1: 58.4 at 6-5 odds.

Marc Campbell also drove out the Landon Campbell, which Hill Indigo had trained in 1:59 with 3: 1 chances for the beginning of his own driving in race 6.

Tony too substantial (driven by Myles Heftfernan Sr.) won the $ 4,200 feature in a 1: 56.3 mile for coach Trevor Hicken and owner Perry Burke as a 3-1 election on the shopping width.

Carnival Heart (Ryan Desroche) won the race 3 Red Shores Tempo in a 1: 59.1 mile as 1-5 favorite MacPherson).

Dusty Lane Zoro won the last race of the season on a 1: 56.2 trip on 3-5 chances for driver Donald Macneill and coach Ron Gass.

Live Racing returns to Red Shores Charlottetown on Saturday, May 3, while Red Shores Summerside opened on May 19 at Victoria Day.
