Adolescent adult leaders in the equine industry are invited to apply for the AQHLead Class of 2025, a leadership program for ages 21-35, by December 31, 2024.

The American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) is now accepting applications from the Class of 2025 for AQHLead, presented by Farnam. This leadership program supports adolescent adults ages 21 to 35 as they develop into leaders in the equine industry. Applications should be submitted by December 31, 2024.

Through AQHLead, participants participate in leadership-focused webinars, access a network of mentors, and receive grant-funded trips to ultimately gain greater insight into their roles and impact in the industry. AQHLead Travel Scholarships will be awarded to 10 applicants for the Class of 2025 to offset travel expenses and attendance at the 2025 AQHA Convention March 28-31 in Las Vegas.

Selected adolescent adults can also apply for one of five additional travel grants of $1,800 each to attend an significant industry event or location of interest. AQHLead is supported by a grant from the Dogwood Foundation, Dan and Stephanie Janis, and additional support from the American Quarter Horse Foundation.
