Appleby confident with current games in Queen Anne

Godolphin has a good record in the Queen Anne Stakes (G1) on June 20 (G1) with eight earlier victories, but the main coach of the operation, Charlie Appleby, still has to win Royal Ascot's opening race.

That could change if Appleby is ready to play a mighty hand with affable approval of Current games And Local path .

Both horses were classic winners with 3, local trail, who won the Irish two thousand Guineen (G1) and current games as a French equivalent. However, they were current games that have strengthened their login information since then won class 1 in Canada and in the States and achieved a first victory at the highest level in Great Britain if he was successful in Newbury in Newbury last month. The victory was followed by a disappointing second in his season debut Chez Pierre In Keeland's Maker's Mark Mile (G1T) in April.

“We were pleased about preparing the current games,” said Appleby. “It was great to get a win of group 1 in Great Britain under his belt as part of the castle, and if there is no flood of rain, he looks the one he can beat again.”

The 4-year-old son of Queen Anne Victor Dubaw was appointed America's Champion Turf Male in his two overseas miles (G1T) and Woodbine Mile (G1TT) because he has determined victories in the Breeders' Cup Mile (G1t) and Woodbine Mile (G1tt).

The Queen Anne provides an automatic berth with paid fees in the breeding cup mile on November 4 Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California.

Native trail was unsuccessful in two starts after his Guineas victory last year, but a stiff mile should suit him well, because after a wind operation he makes his second start.

Appleby added: “Native trail has definitely occurred since his run in Newmarket last month. He is now a sharper, fitterer individual and benefited from a race track gallop last week. He goes to Ascot with a live chance.”

Frankie wants to go to the flyer with Inspiral

For most horses that would return to a Royal Ascot Group 1 from a 248-day absence of competition campaigns, this would be a problem, but if you consider what it did at the meeting last year, this could easily be interpreted as positive Inspired .

Inspiral owned by Cheveley Park Stud was the first time in 252 days in the game 12 months ago, but did a glorious performance to win the coronation obligations (G1).
