High quality European galoper Alflaila was secured by the White Robe Lodge for studies and presented one of the world's great father lines through his Sire Gloomy Angel to Modern Zealand.
Alflaila's racing career was bred by the famed Shadwell surgery and is defined by resilience, consistency and talent at the elite level, as was tested by rear victories in the violent competitive GR.2-york operations (2100m), a breed, some of the best Middle-distance horses in Europe.
Alflaila is a winner of the debut as a two -year -old over 1200 m and showed his class for coach Owen Burrows in the following three seasons.
Alflaila won four times in six starts at three o'clock and started his classic season with a win in Ascot over 1400 m before he landed the listed Pomfret Stakes (1600 m), Gr.3 Strensall Stakes (1750 m) in York and Gr.3 Darley Stakes (1800 m) in Newmarket.
At the age of four at the age of four, Group 1 swept the group 1 of Group 1 to My Prospero to land the York Stakes, and produced a huge run of load to take fifth place behind Auguste Rodin in the GR.1 Irish Champion Stakes (2000 m) in a field with high -class Gallopern Luxembourg, Nashwa and King of Steel.
He returned to defend his title in York Stakes as a five -year -old, and was also a faster fourth in the GR.1 Prince of Wales' Stakes (2000 m) in Royal Ascot.
Alflaila's Peak Timeform rating of 125 brought him to the elite actors of his generation.
“He has repeatedly proven that he belonged to the top level,” said coach Owen Burrows.
Alflaila, a winner of Gloomy Angel in Group two, will withdraw in the photo of the White Robe Lodge: Delivery
“He was pointed enough to win six (Furlongs) for the first time as a two-year-old, and he showed a Briliant application that day.
“As a three -year -old, he never stopped improving, and when we appeared on a mile, he got better.
“This winter at the end of his three -year season, he traveled to Bahrain, where he would probably have started a fairly compact favorite for the Bahrain Trophy (Gr.2, 2000 m), but unfortunately he started an injury out there.
“But he was very resilient and came back and won the York Stakes when he resumed, a race that he stubbornly won last year.
“It was a very huge run both in the Irish Champion Stakes and last year to take fourth place in the Prince of Wales stakes, where he slightly got to the bottom and he was directly on the heels of some proper first -class horses.
“He is a very sporty horse that was also strenuous. He came back from a few diminutive setbacks that it wouldn't have, but he really wanted it.
“I think breeders will be impressed. He is very attractive and is proportional, moves well and has a good sporting structure on him.
“I trained some of Gloomy Angel and it is quite typical in terms of construction and appearance. He was in Great Britain and Ireland Champion last year and was quite a phenomenon.”
Gloomy Angel is one of the most sought -after stallions in Europe with 17 winners in Group 1, including Harry Angel, Battaash and Charyn.
Harry Angel has conquered the southern hemisphere in the storm, with Star actors such as Tom Kitten, Private Harry, Angel Capital and Strettan Angel, who drive him into the top level of Australia's General Sires classification, an incredible performance for a stallion with only three races.
Alflaila is outside the missions that Oasis Dream Mare Adhwaa placed, who in turn is a daughter of the stake, who won Darshaan Mare Hammiya, also the dam of the listed winner Shaqira.
The third mother is the stakes-winning fairy tale king Mare Albacora, even half a sister for the winner of the group three and the Grens 1 Poule d'sesai des Pouliche (1600 m) Pont-Aven.
“Marcus Corban helped us land Alflaila,” said Jack Stewart from White Robe Lodge.
“He is a great friend of the family, but also one of the huge heads in our industry and he has made David Redvers easier to inspect the horse in our name.
“He provided a shining review in which Alflala was described as a very attractive, noble person with a great action and a very good confirmation at around 16hh.
“As soon as I showed my grandpa (Brian 'Bj' Andton) his racing performance, family tree and photos, he simply said:” Do it “.
“BJ has its first stallion at the age of 18 and now, only 88 years elderly, in his 70 years, which has phenomenally and has standing stallions, and speaks volumes of where his judgment has been given for the decades.
“Alflaila embodies what makes state-of-the-art breeders looking for, proven speed, an elite trunk tree and a breathtaking physical type. When he was a two-year debut winner, he was the key for us on today's market and also that he was trained with three, four and five between 1200 and 2100 m.
“Shadwell Stud has decided to keep an interest in Alflaila, and we will be the fact that Zabeel and Pro Incanto are graduates of their successful racing and breeding program that have an enormous influence on the stud in Modern Zealand.
“We couldn't be more excited to bring Alflaila into the White Robe Lodge.”
Alflaila will provide an introductory fee of over 7,000 USD+GST with a confined number of lifetime rights, which offers the breeder the unique opportunity to share the future success of the stallion.
