The Glen Innes Services Club Cup is the characteristic race for the meeting 'Ladies Day Autumn Edition', which is a replacement card after a freak storm was wiped out the usual Cup day in January when a phantom meeting was staged.

“This is for the women and we celebrate on arrival with the free gate entry for women and a free drink,” said Barry Luxford des Glen Innes Jockey Club.

“We have a stylish Black -White dress topic inspired by the glamor of the derby day and is perfect for an autumn racing atmosphere.

“This is the ultimate country day to suck up the social atmosphere with bubbles in the hand that stand against the background of Glen Ins' rolling western hills.

“We have live entertainment all day long and after the last race there is an official after party at the Glen Innes Services Club.

“A bar, a bookmaker, a tab and a food stand will also be available with a Cup Calcutta on Friday in Glen Innes Services Club.”

The meeting of Grafton, tomorrow, Lawrence Cup Day, is probably led on a ponderous surface with one or two forecasts.

The Murwillumbah coach Matthew Dunn has entered seven Gallopers and is major in the benchmark 82 handicap (1205 m), with the gelding winning the last start winner of the brushbrove cup on the same place three weeks ago three weeks ago.

Dunn has also nominated an compelling galoper in Heika, who will make his debut for the stable.

Heika was previously trained by Paul Messara & Leah Gavranich at Scone and is a winner of four of his only eight starts with doubles in Muswellbrook and on his previous home course.

Tonight there will be a special Lawrence Cup Calcutta function in the Lawrence Tavern, which starts at 5:30 p.m. with ticket sales before the Kalkutta begins at 7 p.m.

In the NSW racetracks in the Northern Rivers region, the recent saturated weather and a prediction for further precipitation in the region will be monitored in the next fourteen days.

The surface for the Coffs Harbor meeting on Friday was called a similar reading for Lismore on Saturday.

Murwillumbah (Monday, May 12th) has received a lot of rain, and the conditions of all of these routes are still monitored with possible discussions.

There should be no problems with Gunnedah tomorrow, since today little or no rain will be predicted and tomorrow with the course a pliable 7 will be rated that could improve until morning.

The club has a BBQ lunch, a tab, bookmaker and a coffee car, in which coach Greg Hickman records three horses Johnny Be Swift, Tigers Roar and Eclater. Hickman won 11 races of 50 trips as amateur jockey before joining a racing team from Gunnedah.
