Every week, members of the national media vote on the nation's top competitors on the Triple Crown Trail in the top full blood circuit survey by the National Thoroughed Racing Association (NTRA).
Week 13 of the NTRA Top 3-year thoroughbred survey 2025 until April 27th covers races until April 27th. The leader presented by Woodford Reserve in the survey in Kentucky Derby is May 3 at Churchill Downs with 280 points, 63 more than his closest time. The next four were between 122 for the winner of the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes Burnham Square in fifth until 217 for the winner of the Arkansas Derby, Sandman, in second place.
The 3-year survey represents horses that compete until and through the triple crown. The ranking lists are based on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-1 tuning system.
