Clayton Stall has another role in trotting bars

Matthew Claytons One Last Roll Back to the Triangle On Wednesday evening Matthew Clayton is already a Trot Rods Heat winner in his career racing career to set the early benchmark time for the 2025 campaign.

The popular series started in Redcliffe last Wednesday evening, with Ben Battels Beef City Starzz claimed the opening heat that was sufficient to set the tired time.

The nine -year -old gelding scored in 66.51 seconds.

Clayton's One Last Roll (Sign of life) For the events of this week, the inside all of the two warnings around the triangle complicated.

The gelding was successful in the fifth heat of the Swift and Furious series last year in 65.49 seconds.

One last role has not won since December last year, but consistently drove in Redcliffe and Marburg and most recently took part in the Goldstrike series.

The Pacer took seventh place in the consolation race for the Goldstrike series of Marburg in his last excursion, but had been driving well in the last five previous efforts.

Clayton booked the order of 947 meters on Wednesday on the 947-meter order on Wednesday.

“His shape outside of the other day when I drove him in Marburg was not bad,” said the 43-year-old rider.

“That day he was running a bit in Marburg in Marburg.

“The shorter trip to redcliffes, a round, has a good gate speed and can keep its speed for a bit – this race fits him honestly.

“He likes to travel on the play and the way Layne drives is also his way.”

Clayton in Haigslea has two ways to set the fastest time in the TROTS RODS campaign 2025 on Wednesday, watching stable data on how Lily is concerned with the second of the two preliminaries.

The mare raced in Victoria and has won three times since he switched to the barn of Clayton to the north. The trainer described them as a inexpensive purchase for his group of owners.

Of these three triumphs, two came in Redcliffe with the other in Marburg.

Anyone who has observed Lily has not placed in their last five starts since winning in Marburg in early March.

The five -year -old and Reinsman Leonard Cain will be exposed to a tough order from the outdoor barrier on Wednesday.

“Since I had her, we had had our problems with her,” said Clayton.

“She did a good job for us. She had a blasty speed when she raced in Melbourne, but in this race everything has the speed.

“Leonard has to go back and see if he can drive over the sprint trip.”

In addition to a last heat win from Last Roll last year, Clayton took the gelding to the final show case meeting, in which he took third place.

Shannon Price and Nathan Rothwell claimed the Trot Rods Prize from 2024, when he stole the show at Ya Bling slow in the play for the final program, and achieved 63.86 seconds to hand over the coach and to issue their first title in the popular short-term series.

The 2024 campaign was the first time that Clayton had targeted his horses for the event, and said he wanted to be back this year.

“It is different with five horses in the field and they drive for good money,” said the coach.

“Obviously, it doesn't fit every horse, but if it fits your horse, you can absorb a good coin and not beat horses.”

Clayton has revived his stable in recent years after a decade without training.

The conditioner has a handful of work.

Clayton did not prepare a horse team between 2013 and 2023, but returned last year and trained a dozen winners in 2024.

The rider says he loves to be consistent in sports again and still work full -time in the golf industry.

One last role was a stable star since Clayton had returned to the game, won 10 races and was placed 17 more opportunities.
