In an invigorating step, the date for the NZB National Disease Sale (thoroughbred) and the NZB Standardbred National Wastewater Sale (Standardbred) was completed, with both warping sessions being sold Thursday June 26, 2025 And Karaka.
The thoroughbred session in the morning begins with the joint sales date, whereby the standard bred bins will be sold later in the afternoon.
There seems to be much more synergy between the two codes. Both industries are in great form, and the positivity of the operations increases and modern initiatives in both codes are encouraging. We also see some thoroughbred players who are recently committed to each year's sale.
