Despite obvious financial restrictions, the newly ratified BC (TRBC) Group has agreed to implement A Secretary program for 2024/25. The program, which represents confirmation of economic pressure, is opposite the owner who committed to lower applicants in the winter months, was set for every qualified horse at $ 2,000. While this amount is lower than in previous years, it remains a generous incentive, and the stakeholders have undertaken to check the amount if the finances improve.

As most are remembered, an urgent racing BC (TRBC) was created in 2023 to offer a single voice and the management of the thoroughbred industry. HBPA from BC, BCTOBA and CTHSBC were all part of the initial committee structure.

Changes have been made in recent months so that the TRBC becomes trust. Each of these three original organizations could appoint trustees, and these trustees, which follow a strict list of conditions, would supervise racing and breeding of whole blood in BC BCTOBA and HBPA.

However, the CTHS BC rejected these conditions and rejected the trust.

Saturday, March 1st, was the first meeting of the newly founded TRBC. The first trustees are HBPA President David Milburn and HBPA Vice President (owner) Denise Praill as well as BCTOBA BC President Ole Nielsen and Bctoba Secretary Mike Heads.

In order to fulfill the conditions of the Trbc trust, the first thing the board did was temporarily appoint the chairman of the TRBC. The Intermediate chair is HBPA director Gary Johnson.

The board of trustees appointed Gary as a preliminary chairman because all trustees must be approved unanimously.

In addition to confirming the details of the latest wintering program and the intention to hold a sale of horses in the age of racing, the TRBC board also received a report from Denise Praill on the continued efforts to secure a long -term financing and administrative contract with the government.

Recently, a committee, which consists of Denise Praill and Gary Johnson, met together with the representatives of Gurtracing BC Rick Mowles and Kelly MacMillan with MLA and Attorney General Nikki Sharma, whose constituency of the constituency. It was a positive meeting and Minister Sharma agreed that she would turn to arrange additional meetings with various ministers. The TRBC will report more if there are final messages.

After several inquiries about spring sales of racing horses, the newly ratified thoroughbred BC Board (TRBC) decided to sponsor horses in racing age on Saturday, April 19, 2025.
