Trans-Tasman battle threatens with the HRNZ-year HRNZ awards this week

The Australian exclamation mark could come to the HRNZ Annual Awards in Christchurch on this Saturday evening.

Then the industry celebrates the good and the substantial one from 2024.

The night will show a huge Roll Call of Equine talent and some of the people who make the industry tick. Although it is always a special night, it could be even more for all Australians who make the trip through the Tasman.

This year, Australian trained horses have justified the age group and the most crucial awards. They are only assessed on this side of the Tasman.

The Australians dominate the main races of Recent Zealand last season and this could be reflected in the categories and even in the overall listening of the year.

They won substantial races, including the Recent Zealand Cup with Swayzee and the Auckland Cup with a better solar eclipse, with Merlin flying the Kiwi flag with grin in the race with the KiWi flag.

These results alone will lead to intriguing coordination: is a unique NZ-Cup victory enough to earn Swayzee at the age of Swayzee at the age of the year.

And if Merlin, what it probably looks like to win the four -year -old of the year, would that and the grin victory give him a shot at Pacer of the Year?

A compact horse that throws a shadow over all speed winners will recently believe as an Australian trotting champion, whose work was close to a total rule.

He won the first Tab -Trot, the Rowe Cup and the Dominion, and he and his connections are also extremely popular, so that he is certainly in the race for the horse of the year.

The Supreme Award was of course gained from a trotter for two of the last three years in Sounde's son, but the Australia winners of the Premier Award are a much less common event.

Flashing Red was half classified as Aussie when he won in 2007, but was trained by Tim Butt for the victories who won this title.

So if one of the Aussies can apply for the Signature Award on this Saturday evening, they will join the elite of the clubs.

The change in the calendar, in which most feature races run at the beginning or at the end of the season, also increased the competitiveness of the categories. Many stars of the early season, which are to be weighed against the later form of the season.

One of the most open awards is the three -year -old male pacer with a cool chisel, a dream, a substantial scorching, better ankle and we go through the belief, all the huge races and without a dominant actor.

The Juvenile stimulants shared as well as the older pace and trotting margins, three-year-old male trotter and the four-year speed.
