There is a factor as part of the control of Commander Ben (Art major) Camp and one outside of that when the Pacer today wants to complete his mighty placements with a Temuka transport Waikouaiti Pacers Cup in Oamaru.
The five -year -old for a reservoir with a change after his third place in the recent Northern Southland Cup in Ascot Park for coach Brent and Tim White.
The couple will come together in the form of Paccadilly Pete, Tempo Warrior and Tabasco in a competitive 3000 m grass track in Oamaru at 6:19 p.m. One change is a 2.50 dollar favorite with commander Ben at 9 US dollars.
Although Commander Ben did in his last two starts, he couldn't have produced much more.
The Pacer stormed home from a hopeless place when he third in the Cromwell Cup, before he recovered well from a scratchy start in northern Southland Cup for his third.
While the white warehouse cannot control what Commander Ben will do when the ligaments are released on Sunday, they were able to bring it back to its elated place – grass track.
“He loves the grass and if he can go away a little better this time and stay with a change, he should be a good chance in every respect,” said Tim White.
“He went three nice races this year, his victory in Roxburgh was good and his run in Cromwell couldn't have been better.”
If you return to grass, it is clearly a plus for Commander Ben that it looks further in the 3000 -M stay trip.
“It's a trip that suits him these days,” said White.
“In the past, his career removal was not his strength.”
“But he got stronger than he went on.”
“It is best and if he can climb on a helmet, the 3000 m should fit it.”
The White Stall also starts Randel Huston P in Oamaru in Race 4, the Equine Veterinary Services and Belmont Park.
The troter recently returned to its best form with a four-length victory on the all weather of Oamaru.
With this victory, Randel Huston P is a similar opposition on Sunday.
“He won twice on the all -weather, hopefully he can do it in the grass too.”
“He seems to drive his best races in front of him, if he continues back, he comes out of his corridor and loses interest.”
Kimberly Butt takes over the reins behind the commander Ben and Randel Huston P in Oamaru.
