Blue Point breeding rights are sold for €430,000

Breeding directly on site Blue Dot (Irish) sold on Darley's auction platform on Wednesday for 430,000 euros to an unnamed buyer.

The son of Shamardal is the sire of G1 Irish 2000 Guineas 2024 and G1 St James's Palace Stakes hero Rosallion (Irish) and his third Group 1 winner in Kind Of Blue (GB). In his second year he is credited with seven black artists, including Group 2 winner Sky Majesty (Irish). On the sales front, his 2024 yearlings have sold for up to 850,000 euros. Blue Point is fully booked at Kildangan Stud in Ireland for 2025 with a fee of €100,000 and will see his third year at the track next year.
